Welcome to Indian Creative Talent (“we”, “us”, “our”), available at indiancreativetalent.com (the “Website”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Website and your participation in any competition we organise. By creating an account, registering for a competition or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. About our service

Indian Creative Talent organises online creative competitions in categories such as art & painting, drawing, photography, mehendi, rangoli and craft. Participants register online, pay an entry fee (where applicable), upload a digital photo or file of their entry, and are judged by our panel. Winners may receive cash prizes, trophies or other rewards, and participants receive digital certificates as described on each competition page.

2. Eligibility

  • Competitions are open to residents of India unless a competition page states otherwise.
  • Each competition specifies its own age group and eligibility criteria. The participant's age is calculated as on the competition's deadline unless stated otherwise. We may ask for proof of age at any time.
  • You must provide accurate, complete and current information when registering. Registrations with false or misleading information may be cancelled without refund.
  • Employees of Indian Creative Talent and members of the judging panel, and their immediate family members, may not win prizes in competitions they are involved in.

3. Participants under 18 (minors)

If the participant is under 18 years of age, the registration must be made by, or with the verifiable consent of, a parent or legal guardian. By registering a minor, the parent/guardian confirms that they have the authority to do so, accept these Terms on the minor's behalf, and consent to the processing of the minor's information as described in our Privacy Policy. Prizes won by minors are paid to the parent/guardian.

4. Accounts

You log in using a one-time password (OTP) sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at indiancreativetalent@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Registration and fees

  • The entry fee, prizes, deadline, rules and result date for each competition are shown on its competition page. All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed by our payment partner Razorpay. A registration is confirmed only after successful payment.
  • One registration allows one entry by one participant unless the competition rules say otherwise.
  • Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

6. Entries, originality and fair play

  • Each entry must be the original work of the participant, created by the participant personally, and must follow the competition theme and rules.
  • AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork, traced or copied work, plagiarised work, stock images, or work created by another person are strictly prohibited. Entries edited in a way that changes the original work (beyond basic cropping, brightness or rotation) may also be disqualified.
  • Entries must not contain obscene, violent, hateful, defamatory or otherwise unlawful content, and must not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or privacy. For photography, you must have the consent of any identifiable person in the photo (and of their guardian if they are a minor).
  • We may disqualify any entry, and cancel any registration, that breaches these rules or the specific competition rules — at any stage, including after results are announced. Disqualified registrations are not eligible for a refund, and any prize or certificate already issued may be withdrawn.
  • Entries must be uploaded before the deadline. Late entries are not accepted.

7. Ownership and licence to display entries

You (or the participant) keep full ownership and copyright of your entry. By submitting an entry, you grant Indian Creative Talent a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, reproduce, display and publish the entry — together with the participant's name, age group, school and city/state — on the Website, in results and winner announcements, in our gallery, on our social media channels and in promotional material related to our competitions, always with credit to the participant. We will not sell your entry or license it to third parties for commercial use. You may ask us to remove your entry from our gallery or social media at any time by contacting us; this does not affect results already published.

8. Judging and results

  • Entries are evaluated by the judging panel using the criteria described on the competition page and on our About page.
  • The decision of the judges is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding scores or rankings, and individual scores are not disclosed.
  • We may postpone result dates if required, and will inform participants of any change.

9. Prizes

  • Prizes are as stated on the competition page at the time of registration. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, except that we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
  • Cash prizes are paid by bank transfer or UPI to the winner (or to the parent/guardian for minors) after successful KYC verification (such as name, bank/UPI details and PAN where required by law). Winners must complete KYC within 30 days of being notified; unclaimed prizes may be forfeited.
  • Taxes: Prize money is subject to applicable taxes under the Income Tax Act, 1961. Where required by law, tax will be deducted at source (TDS) before payment, and a TDS certificate will be provided. Any other tax liability is the responsibility of the winner.

10. Certificates

Digital certificates are issued to eligible participants after results are announced and can be downloaded from the dashboard. Each certificate carries a unique ID that can be verified on our verification page. Tampering with, altering or misrepresenting a certificate is prohibited and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, uploading malware, scraping data, creating multiple accounts to manipulate results, or impersonating another person.

12. Cancellation or changes to competitions

We may modify, postpone or cancel a competition due to insufficient participation, technical issues, events beyond our control or other genuine reasons. If we cancel a competition, all registered participants will receive a full refund as described in our Refund Policy.

13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work hard to keep it secure and available, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indian Creative Talent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from internet or device failures, delays by payment providers or banks, or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a competition shall not exceed the entry fee you paid for that competition.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Indian Creative Talent against any claims, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or from any entry you submit that infringes the rights of a third party.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Changes will not affect competitions you have already registered for, unless required by law.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at the place of our registered business address in India . We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern amicably.
