Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to entry fees paid to Indian Creative Talent on indiancreativetalent.com for registering in our online competitions. Please read it before making a payment.

1. General rule

Entry fees are used to organise the competition, arrange judging, and provide prizes and certificates. Therefore, entry fees are non-refundable once the competition has started accepting entries, except in the situations listed in Section 2 below.

2. When you will get a full refund

You are entitled to a 100% refund of the entry fee in any of the following cases:

  1. Competition cancelled by us — if we cancel a competition for any reason, all participants registered for it will be refunded automatically. You do not need to apply.
  2. Duplicate payment — if you were charged more than once for the same registration, the extra amount will be refunded.
  3. Failed payment with money debited — if money was debited from your account but the registration was not confirmed, the amount will be refunded (if it is not automatically reversed by your bank or Razorpay).
  4. Cancellation within 24 hours — if you request cancellation within 24 hours of registering and before uploading an entry for that registration.

3. When refunds are not available

  • Cancellation requested more than 24 hours after registration, or after an entry has been uploaded.
  • Failure to upload an entry before the deadline.
  • Registration in the wrong competition or wrong age group due to incorrect information provided by the participant (we will try to help move you to the correct competition where possible).
  • Entries disqualified for breaking the competition rules or our Terms & Conditions (for example, AI-generated, copied or plagiarised work).
  • Dissatisfaction with the judging outcome or results.

4. How to request a cancellation or refund

Email us at indiancreativetalent@gmail.com or call 9226565429 with:

  • Your registration number (e.g. ICT-ART-26-XXXXXX),
  • The registered email address and participant name,
  • The Razorpay payment ID (shown in your confirmation email and dashboard), and
  • The reason for your request (and, for duplicate/failed payments, a screenshot of the debit if available).

We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days. Once a cancellation within 24 hours is approved, the registration is cancelled and you will no longer be able to upload an entry for it.

5. Refund processing time

Approved refunds are initiated within 2 working days and are credited to the original payment method (the same UPI, card, bank account or wallet used for payment) within 5–7 working days. The exact time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. We do not charge any fee for processing refunds, and we cannot refund to a different account or in cash.

6. Changes to a competition

If we postpone a competition's deadline or result date, your registration remains valid for the new dates. If you are unable to participate due to a significant change we made (such as a change of theme or age group after you registered), you may request a full refund before uploading your entry.
